Alright, last one in the series. Dusk, this time. At least i hope it looks like it's Dusk - pictures with the lightsource behind the viewer are the fucking worst and with the winterweather outside, i can't really look at the sunset.
So anyway.. this will be the last giant picture for a while because a) i have not enough concrete ideas for another series right now and b) i really have to finish some other stuff first.
Step-by-step montage:
Night: Dawn: Noon:
[edit] Made it a bit darker and added some glare to the windows.
the amount of detail is impressive, stye is really interesting as well. i think the lighting effects could improve a little bit, sometimes its hard to tell where the main light source is, and but still the way it is probably fits the style perfectly. I'm going to be completely honest and say composition is not strong enough, a more dynamic framing with a wider use of perspective could have been better, also the fountain lacks detail, texture and its base is cropped, keep in mind that when i say it lacks detail I'm comparing it with the rest of the picture and a central element like this one should have a strong focus and impact the viewer right away.
This picture is beautiful I love how the clouds feel like.
I see Derpy Hooves carring a box clumsily, Pinkie Pie (with Gummy holding onto her ear), Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are having a relaxation on the roof and the Cutie Mark Crusaders are preforming for the success as Applejack, Zecora, Cheerilee and Arthemyst Star are watching them.
The purple skies are bright and shiny as well as the culture. I love how romantic Spike and Rarity feel to each other, I see Berry Punch and Rose having a conversation and I like how Twilight came out with the book she levitates.
Out of all the ones you did, this is my favourite. The activity is charming, the lighting is homely, the clouds are wonderfully wispy, and it's my favourite time of day above all else! Also, BRILLIANT use of lighting with the sun being well, setting in the direction of being behind the viewer. That was a fantastic idea.
